Introducing Gravity Fund

I’m thrilled to announce the launch of Gravity Fund, a thesis driven early-stage Venture Capital firm, alongside my Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Adam Gruver. We’ll be investing in extraordinary entrepreneurs building bleeding edge technology on the brink of commercialization in four defined sectors: Consumer Marketplaces & Applications, Fintech & Crypto, Enterprise Software, and Life Sciences. We’re truly looking forward to applying our domain expertise and working with founders to advance the future of these sectors, with the aim of creating significant value for our investors. Founders in these sectors are shaping our world and that of our children- we intend to help build that world and advance our theses within these sectors. There has never been a better time to invest in 'return the fund' type opportunities at the seed stage within our sectors, and we know how to source those opportunities.
I’ve been fortunate to be a part of the Brightstone team for ~10 amazing years, during which time I’ve learned an immeasurable amount and built lasting relationships with Brightstone general and limited partners. I am honored to have had the opportunity to work with the Brightstone team, and I will continue to be a Managing Partner relative to BVCF1 and BVC2 as we manage those funds through their respective liquidity periods. In addition, Gravity and Brightstone will continue to support each other and work closely together moving forward. Gravity's focus on Seed stage opportunities will function as a unique source of deal-flow for Brightstone Fund 3, which will continue to focus on Series-A and later stage opportunities. I want to thank Patrick O'Shaughnessy and David Dalvey for their unwavering support and encouragement, and communicate my sincere gratitude to the broader Brightstone family for giving me the opportunity to learn from such a world-class group of investors and human beings. Your support, guidance, and mentorship along the way have been invaluable, and I wouldn’t be the person or professional I am today without you.
Adam has been fortunate to be a part of the MMX family for 10 years and will continue to work with the MMX team as a JV Partner. Additionally, we’re both excited that MMX will be backing Gravity as a Strategic Advisor as we build and scale from the ground up. MMX’s experience and insight as an alternative investment capital raising and advisory firm will be invaluable at Gravity’s outset, and as we scale.
